YATE extended their lead at the top of the table with a convincing win against Shaftesbury.
The visitors took the lead after 16 minutes, however, when Yate goalkeeper was slow to clear the ball and Jack Hoey capitalised.
Yate soon drew level though when Nick McCootie struck home a penalty following a handball and he put his side in front in first half stoppage time after breaking free to slot the ball past Shane Murphy.
McCootie completed his hat-trick after 55 minutes, converting Will Christopher’s left wing cross.
