CARLTON Town continued their excellent ■ unbeaten run with a gutsy victory at home to play-offchasing North Ferriby. In a game of few chances, it was an attritional battle. The visiting Villagers had the better of the first half with Felix Annan called into action on several occasions – most notably from a fine Tom Corner strike.
Carlton were much improved in the second half and finally broke the deadlock as Lamin Manneh latched on to a long ball, outmuscled centre-back Dom Roma and slotted past Ben Bottomley.
