■ CLUB captain Niall Davie made his 300th appearance for Carlton Town as the Millers kept up their play-off challenge with a win against Ossett Utd at Stoke Lane.
The visitors started the better but Carlton took the lead midway through the first half with a Nat Watson free-kick into the top corner via a slight deflection off the wall.
Liam Moran, who caused problems for the Sheepicorns all afternoon, doubled the lead on the stroke of half-time, outmuscling Ellis Farrar and firing past Aleks Petrovic.
