■ HANWORTH Villa boosted their play-off hopes with a narrow away victory over Kingstonian, thanks to a second-half goal from Sam Merson.
Both teams spent the first half testing the goalkeepers, with Kingstonian’s Liam Allen making the tougher saves.
The only goal came from a corner, as Merson nodded in at the near post following a well-delivered ball from the left.
Kingstonian struggled to break down Villa’s defence, failing to test goalkeeper Mark Smith.
