■MARGATE were not unduly troubled as they beat Steyning Town Community at The Shooting Field, leaving the Sussex club rooted at the foot of the table.
Fourth-placed Margate took the lead after eight minutes, Tushaun Walters scoring a fine solo goal.
The Barrowmen came close to an equaliser with a Finlay Chadwick free-kick being tipped over by Tom Wray.
Walters got his second just before half time, the lead stretching further in the 54th minute when Tom Derry powered home a header.
