■TOBY Raison netted twice as Evesham United bat Cribbs to closed the gap on leaders Yate Town.
The Robins made hard work of beating Cribbs at The Spiers & Hartwell Stadium before reducing Yate’s lead at the summit to just three points.
Chances were few and far between in a disappointing first half before the Robins stepped up the pressure after the restart.
Raison opened the scoring 12 minutes from time and made sure of three points in front of a home crowd of 422 just six minutes later.
