■ NEITHER side could find a vital goal as Lye Town and Coventry Sphinx played out a goalless draw which will suit the visitors more than their hosts.
The hosts remain seven points away from safety, missing out on a vital chance to gain ground.
The first half saw the away side waste openings from Harry Wakefield, Iddriss Fuseini and Fortune Maphosa.
Though the visitors were fortunate to end the half level, with Ryley Nicholson nearly scoring a spectacular own goal as he blasted the ball against his own keeper Charlie Woods.
