OSCAR Dean’s strike after 17 minutes proved to be the difference at GBS Stadium as Newmarket Town grabbed all three points against already relegated Ipswich Wanderers. In turn, the result also managed to ease the away side’s own relegation fears.
The visitors’ goalkeeper James Young was called into early action to keep Wanderers out.
Then, a serious injury to Kacper Brzozowiec after 13 minutes did not upset the Jockeys’ strong start.
