■ THAME United and Barton Rovers couldn’t be separated in the Southern League Central Division, leaving the former outside of the play-off places on goal difference.
It was Barton who should come away more thankful for the draw, having extended their unbeaten run to nine games and maintained their playoff place.
That’s not to say that both sides didn’t have their chances, however. In fact, Taylor Rhiney very nearly stole all three points at the death, only for his effort to be blocked by the heroics of Thame’s defending.
