■ SUTTON Common kept alive their slim survival hopes after edging out a fast-fading Horndean.
Dan Pepple claimed the winner after 14 minutes, heading into the net after Kieran Smith diverted a corner across goal.
Horndean, without a victory now in any of their past dozen matches, rallied well and Casey Bartlett-Scott fired high before Brandon Chebby forced Rovers goalkeeper Kacper Orlowski to save smartly low down.
The hosts had the better chances after half-time, Courtney Swaby shooting narrowly over.
