HAYES and Yeading were set on their way to victory with a goal straight from kick-off on yet another dry afternoon and on an even drier pitch.
Adrian Clifton converted a long cross by Hay to enhance their play-off prospects and deflate their hapless hosts.
The visitors doubled their lead after 21 minutes through George Sippetts to effectively end the match as a contest with only a quarter of it played.
