■ STOCKSBRIDGE Park Steels stormed into the play-off places thanks to an easy win at Bridlington.
And while Steels may be looking up, Brid’s relegation fears were heightened, with just three points separating them from Brighouse in 19th spot.
The visitors made the perfect start, taking the lead after seven minutes through Kurtis Turner, when his whipped free-kick into the box evaded everyone and nestled in the bottom corner.
Tommy Marshall replaced Luke Rawson after 36 minutes and within two minutes headed the visitors into a 2-0lead.
