Southall visit Uxbridge at Honeycroft on Saturday on the back of three consecutive wins in the Isthmian League Division One South Central.
Southall have picked up nine points from their last six games, and they face a Reds side who drew their last match, and have collected 13 points from the last possible 18.
With 70 goals in 36 games so far this season, Southall are the league’s third-highest scorers with 1.9 goals per game. And they are conceding fewer than average, letting in 41 goals at a rate of 1.1 per game.
Uxbridge are also above average scorers, with 1.8 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.6. They have conceded 1.7 goals per game.
The visitors are fourth in the table after 36 games, of which they have won 22 and drawn five, earning 71 points.
The Reds are seven places behind Southall in 11th, with 15 wins and five draws putting them on 50 points.
In the last three years, Uxbridge and Southall have played each other on three occasions. Uxbridge won two of them and Southall one.
Their last meeting was on December 23, when Southall won 3-1 at home.
Uxbridge’s last match was on April 1, a 2-2 draw against Ascot United.
Southall beat Leatherhead 1-0 last time out, on April 6.
