Relegation candidates Beckenham Town face a challenge against high-flying Cray Valley PM at Eden Park Avenue on Saturday.
Beckenham Town are rooted to the bottom of the Isthmian League Division One – South East table, and have picked up three wins and five draws in their 25 games to date.
Cray Valley PM, meanwhile, are top of the standings with 64 points, having won 19 and drawn seven of their first 26 matches.
With 64 goals in 26 games so far this season, Cray Valley PM are the league’s second-highest scorers with 2.5 goals per game. And they are conceding fewer than average, letting in 19 goals at a rate of 0.7 per game.
Beckenham, meanwhile, are below average scorers, with 1.3 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.7. They have conceded 2.6 goals per game.
Town are in disappointing form in the Isthmian League Division One South East, with one win and two draws from their last six games.
With four wins and two draws over that period, the away side’s form is much better – they have taken 14 points from 18, compared to the hosts’ five.
In the last three years, Beckenham and Cray Valley PM have played each other on three occasions. They won one each, and they drew once.
Their last meeting was on December 5, when Cray Valley PM won 2-1 at home.
Beckenham’s last match was on February 17, a 3-2 loss against Herne Bay.
