Relegation candidates East Grinstead Town face a challenge against high-flying Ramsgate at the Estadio José Picasso Peratta on Saturday.
East Grinstead Town are 17th in the Isthmian League Division One – South East table, and have picked up seven wins and three draws in their 25 games to date.
Ramsgate, meanwhile, are second in the standings with 63 points, having won 20 and drawn three of their first 26 matches, and are one point behind table-toppers Cray Valley PM.
With 69 goals in 26 games so far this season, Ramsgate are the league’s highest scorers with 2.7 goals per game. And they are conceding fewer than average, letting in 24 goals at a rate of 0.9 per game.
East Grinstead, meanwhile, are below average scorers, with 1.3 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.7. They have conceded 2.3 goals per game.
In the last 10 years, East Grinstead and Ramsgate have played each other on six occasions. East Grinstead won one of them and Ramsgate the other.
On average, East Grinstead scored 0.8 goals and Ramsgate 3.2 in those matches.
