Littlehampton Town are on a poor run ahead of hosting Herne Bay on Saturday, with just three points collected from their last six games.
Littlehampton have picked up just one win in their last six Isthmian League Division One – South East games, and face a Herne Bay side whose last six games have brought two wins and two draws.
Littlehampton are 18th in the table after 32 games, of which they have won eight and drawn five, earning 29 points.
Herne Bay are 11 places ahead of Town in seventh, with 14 wins and 11 draws putting them on 53 points.
With 37 goals in 32 games so far this season, the hosts are the league’s second-lowest scorers with 1.2 goals per game. And they are conceding more than average, letting in 68 goals at a rate of 2.1 per game.
The away side, meanwhile, are above average scorers, with 1.9 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.7. They have conceded 1.6 goals per game.
Littlehampton’s last match was on Monday, a 2-0 loss against Chichester City.
Herne Bay lost 3-1 against Ashford United last time out, also on Monday.
