YORKSHIRE Amateur brought Liversedge’s two-year unbeaten league run to an end thanks to two first-half goals.
It took a while for either side to take a hold of a game on a heavy pitch at the Southerns Stadium.
When the chances started to come they were coming for the hosts as Ross Duggan’s audacious lob dropped inches wide of Jordan Porter’s post after 15 minutes.
And it was Duggan who broke the deadlock minutes later as Ammers worked the ball to him just inside the area and he powered through a crowd of bodies ...
