Belper Town host Stocksbridge Park Steels in Saturday’s match at Christchurch Meadow looking to bounce back from defeat last time out in the Northern Premier League Division One East.
Belper, who sit second in the league after 26 games, fell to a 0-1 away defeat to Consett on February 17.
They face a Stocksbridge side who picked up a win in their last match, a 2-1 victory against Winterton Rangers, and who sit 17th in the table.
With 55 goals in 26 games so far this season, Belper are the league’s joint-highest scorers with 2.1 goals per game. And they are conceding fewer than average, letting in 34 goals at a rate of 1.3 per game.
Stocksbridge, meanwhile, are below average scorers, with 1.2 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.5. They have conceded 1.3 goals per game.
Town are in fantastic form in the Northern Premier League Division One East, with five wins and one loss from their last six games.
With a win and five draws over that period, the Steels’s form is much worse – they have taken eight points from 18, compared to the home side’s 15.
