North Ferriby face a challenge to maintain their high-scoring form at home against a tight Dunston UTS defence on Saturday.
With 45 goals in 28 games, North Ferriby are the joint-fourth-highest scorers in the Northern Premier League Division One East ahead of the 3pm kick-off.
They face a Dunston UTS side who have scored 44 in 24 matches, but conceded only 22 goals, putting them second among the league’s tightest defences – only Stockton Town have conceded fewer goals.
Dunston UTS are third in the table after 24 games, of which they have won 14 and drawn six, earning 48 points.
North Ferriby are five places behind the visitors in eighth, with 13 wins and three draws putting them on 42 points.
The home side are in good form in the Northern Premier League Division One East, with four wins and a draw from their last six games.
With two wins and three draws over that period, Dunston UTS’s form is worse – they have taken nine points from 18, compared to North Ferriby’s 13.
North Ferriby’s last match was on February 24, a 4-2 win against Grantham Town.
Dunston UTS beat Pontefract Collieries 2-0 last time out, also on February 24.
