Two of the Northern Premier League Division One Midlands’s meanest defences go head-to-head on Saturday, when Harborough Town visit Lye Town.

Harborough are top of the table after 27 games, of which they have won 20 and drawn three, earning 63 points.

With six wins and no losses over that period, the visitors’ form is much better – they have taken 18 points from 18, compared to the home side’s eight.
In the last three years, Lye and Harborough have played each other on three occasions. Harborough won all of them.
Their last meeting was on October 14, when Harborough won 1-0 at home.
Lye’s last match was on February 24, a 1-0 loss against Sporting Khalsa.
Harborough beat Leicester Road 2-0 last time out, also on February 24.
