Rugby Town welcome Lye Town to Butlin Road on Saturday looking to pick up points to end their three-game losing streak.
Rugby’s struggles have left them with just four points from their last six Northern Premier League Division One – Midlands matches, while their opponents have earned 10 from a possible 18.
Rugby are 18th in the table after 31 games, of which they have won six and drawn three, earning 21 points.
Lye are 11 places ahead of Rugby Town in seventh, with 15 wins and six draws putting them on 51 points.
With 33 goals in 31 games so far this season, the home side are scoring at below the league average rate with 1.1 goals per game. And they are conceding more than average, letting in 71 goals at a rate of 2.3 per game.
Lye Town are also below average scorers, with 1.5 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.6. They have conceded 1.2 goals per game.
Rugby’s last match was on March 23, a 3-1 loss against Leicester Road.
Lye lost 3-1 against Shepshed Dynamo last time out, also on March 23.
