THE Football Association have revealed the 68 Step 5 clubs that have applied for promotion to Step 4 at the end of the season.
Clubs at Step 5 had until November 30 to complete their application and the FA have now released a list of all clubs who applied.
The total list stands at 68 and that is up seven from last year. Each league had at least one club apply with the Northern League having the fewest applications – just two clubs are seeking promotion.
The Spartan South Midlands League had the most applications with eight while the North West Counties League and Southern Counties East League have seven clubs each hoping to go up.
