WELFARE HANDED REPRIEVE

NOSTELL Miners Welfare have been reprieved from relegation from Step 6.
The club finished bottom of the Toolstation Northern Counties East with just 15 points from 42 games, of which they won just three.
But Westella & Willerby, who finished second from bottom and 12 points above Nostell, have refused the offer of a reprieve.
Westella officials have told the league that they want to rebuild in the Humber Premier League, despite the fact that the effect of movements in the higher reaches of the Pyramid created a vacancy which would have saved them from relegation to Step 7.
