ETON MANORwill not kick a ball next season – even though they will remain members of the Essex Senior League.
Chairman Reg Curtis, 72, said he has been left to run the 116-year-old club on his own, and was badly let down by the players last season.
Curtis, who played for Eton Manor until he was 52 and has been involved in its administration for 35 years, said that the club needed to take a break from the game and regroup.
