TOO MUCH IL-FEELING SEES FOXES PUSHED OUT

ILFORD have appealed to the FA after being booted out of the Essex Senior League by fellow clubs.
At the league’s annual general meeting, members voted 18-6 to expel the Cricklefield Stadium outfit for failing to pay £630 in fines and a subscription before a deadline.
This week, Foxes officials exercised the right to appeal to the FA against the expulsion within 14 days.
The outstanding money was paid after the deadline, and two Ilford fans each donated £250 to stop the club losing their Step 5 place.
