■VISAN-VASILE Cretu’s second-half header was enough for Corby Town to climb to third place in what was an otherwise dull clash with Romulus.
The striker was in the right place at the right time to head in the only goal of the game, responding perfectly to convert a Phillip Trainer shot.
That was the only bright moment, with the game boasting barely a chance for either side.
