CARL Abbott has made a swift return to football after being named as the new manager of struggling Total Motion Midland Alliance Premier side Quorn.
The former Hinckley AFC boss lasted just two months in charge of Market Drayton Town before recently parting company with them.
He replaces Dougie Keast, who was said to have left the Leicestershire outfit on good terms after telling officials he wanted a change.
With Quorn lying in 21st place with the midway point of the season approaching, Abbott’s brief is to save them from relegation.
