HELLENIC Premier outfit Oxford City Nomads have folded, blowing the final whistle on 82 years of history. Founded in 1936 as Quarry Nomads, the club ended their days as a development side for Oxford City. After having stopped playing for two seasons in 1984, they reformed in 1988 and joined the Hellenic League in 2001. In 2005, theybecame Oxford Quarry Nomads before their final name in 2006.
As a result, the Hellenic Premier Division will now play with 19 rather than 20 clubs.
