LEOMINSTER MAKE RETURN

LEOMINSTER Town are back in the pyramid a year after their senior side folded through an acute shortage of players.
The club, at one time members of the West Midlands (Regional) League before financial cutbacks forced them to drop down to county level, have entered Division One of the Herefordshire League. The team has been reformed by player-manager Matt Strangwood, who has recruited 20 players.
Formed in 1893, Leominster were one of the founder members of the Herefordshire FA. At one time, they ran three Saturday teams.
