FORMER Kettering Town assistant manager Mitch Austin has quit as manager of Rothwell Corinthians.
Austin had led the United Counties Premier Division outfit to the final of the league’s Knockout Cup for the first time in their history before their showdown with Holbeach was cancelled due to the Covid outbreak.
He also led the club to commendable runs in both the FA Cup and FA Vase last season.
Austin told club officials that he would be leaving before The FA’s controversial decision to bring the season to a halt so as to give the club sufficient time to find a replacement.
