Under-fire Blues bow to pressure after controversy

THORNABY are set to reinstate their entire women’s football section after a week of controversy at the Ebac Northern League Division Two club.
Last Sunday brought confirmation the Teesdale Park outfit’s board had voted to remove six female teams ranging from under-7s to first-team from their setup, leaving over 100 players without a club.
