A DRAMATIC 97th minute winner by City substitute Louis Rooney gave the home side a precious three points.
A fiercely-contested match, which had been dominated by two of the meanest defences in the league, looked to be heading for a lacklustre stalemate when Rooney pounced in the seventh minute of stoppage time.
Gosport failed to clear a long free-kick and the former Plymouth Argyle striker lashed the loose ball past a helpless Pat O’Flaherty in the visitors’ goal for a last gasp winner and his second of the season.
