THE WHITES put a valuable three points on the board with a win over Hartley Wintney but made hard work of it against the Hampshire outfit.
The visitors had the first chance, Alexandrou Albert firing well over from 25 yards.
But Salisbury went ahead on eight minutes after Bay Downing started and finished a move involving Shaquille Hippolyte-Patrick, Downing nodding in from close range.
