WIMBORNE continued their impressive form under caretaker manager Danny Holmes with a 92nd-minute winner.
A wind-affected goalless first half was full of endeavour but little finesse. Alex Byrne’s rasping 35-yard freekick was saved at full stretch by home keeper Cameron Plain on 24 minutes, and visiting keeper Niall Maher’s sprawling save to thwart Luke Burbidge just before the break were the highlights.
The game came alive five minutes after the interval. Burbidge played Sam Bayston through and he kept his composure to score.
