ZAK DREW struck twice to ensure Cinderford Town got off to a winning start.
The home side were almost ahead after two minutes when Yesh Lomotey hit the bar with a header, while Drew also looked dangerous early on as he troubled goalkeeper Jake Hallet.
Jadyn Mundle was called into action to stop a powerful strike from George Barker and Moneyfields went even closer shortly after as they were denied by the crossbar.
Just a minute later, however, Town had the lead as Drew struck his first before doubling the lead right after half-time.
