WORCESTER City have banned a long-time supporter for the rest of the season after attacking a fellow fan.
The incident occurred in Worcester’s 2-1 defeat at Shawbury United in the Midland League Premier Division last Saturday.
The man was seen to grab the fellow City supporter by the face, following a verbal disagreement between the two.
A club statement read: “After an investigation into what can only be described as a very ugly assault on a young City fan the board has concluded that a banning notice is the only appropriate action.
