After a bright start at Prenton Park, he was loaned out to Cambridge United and then released from his contract in May 2012. Tiryaki then returned to Turkey to play for 1461 Trabzon and Goztepe, who he left in the summer.

Wood manager Allinson said: “I’m very happy to bring Mustafa here and thought we’d secured his services on a number of occasions. I’m just happy our patience has paid off and that we’ve finally got the deal over the line.

“Mustafa is big, strong and runs the channels well, he also gives me options to play him either as a lone striker or in a two and our squad needs that.

“We now just need to get his international clearance through and he can go straight into my squad. As always I’m very thankful to our chairman for backing me on this and understanding this signing really helps me rebalance our squad after losing striker Jamie Lucas to a hamstring up at Tranmere.”
