NATIONAL LEAGUE side Kidderminster Harriers have appointed Dave Pountney as their managing director.
Pountney joins the club’s board of directors and will be responsible for the day-to-day handling of Harriers’ finances.
Chairman Rod Brown, chief executive Colin Gordon and the rest of the Aggborough board agreed to the appointment at a meeting last week.
Gordon said: “Dave has impressed us with his skills since arriving at the club in a commercial capacity – he will still be a major player for us in that regard, but this move allows us to get a tighter, more efficient working arrangement when it comes to our finances.”
Brown added: “All of the recent changes at the club, including this latest one, all help us move further forward as a business and we’re very pleased with the current set-up.”
Meanwhile, Kiddy have extended striker Matthew Barnes-Homer’s loan from league rivals Aldershot Town until January 23.
