Academy duo handed pro deals by Kidderminster

academy duo James Hancocks and George Taylor have both been handed professional contracts by the club.

Skipper Hancocks and striker Taylor have caught the eye of boss Dave Hockaday and the Kiddy management team with their performances for the academy this term.

Hancocks, 18, plays as an attacking full-back in the U19 side in the Conference Youth Alliance and has been a regular this season in the new U21 side at Aggborough.

Taylor, just 17, has impressed since joining Kiddy’s academy earlier this season and has been a regular in the U21s and the FA Youth Cup run.

Hancocks said:  “I’ve been playing quite a bit with the U21s and I’ve enjoyed it so far. I think I have been doing quite well I think and I’m happy to get this done.”

Taylor added: “It’s gone really quickly but I’ve enjoyed it, it’s been good. The U21s games have been good to be involved with and I think I’ve done alright – I now just have to keep going and giving it all I’ve got.”
