DANNY COWLEY led Braintree Town into the National League play-offs and was unsurprisingly named our Top Boss after the Iron saw off Altrincham 3-0.
Central defender Mark Phillips and striker Michael Cheek, who scored two, earned a spot in our side as Braintree finished third.
Anthony Dudley’s two goals helped Guiseley beat Torquay and avoid relegation and he joined Cheek and Aldershot’s Charlie Walker – who also netted twice – up front.
Clovis Kamdjo was Boreham Wood‘s man of the match as they also beat the drop while Kyle Storer of Cheltenham and Tranmere’s Adam Mekki also earned a spot in our midfield.
Joining Phillips at the back were Dover’s Aswad Thomas, Simon Grand of Barrow and Scott McManus who, despite being relegated with FC Halifax, put in an inspired display. That back four sat in front of Forest Green keeper Steve Arnold who kept a clean sheet at Dover Athletic.
