WREXHAM boss Gary Mills has added to his attacking options with the signing of youngster Tyler Harvey – while he is also looking at veteran forward Shaun Harrad.
Harvey, 21, scored five times in 50 appearances for Plymouth Argyle but turned down the offer of a new contract and became a free agent this summer.
He spent a month on loan at Bath City last season, and won the Huck Nets Goal of the Season at our National Game Awards for his wonder strike against Weston-super-Mare.
Harvey is returning to Non-League for the new season but will be plying his trade in the National League after agreeing a one-year deal with Wrexham.
Boss Mills is still looking to bolster his forward line and former Burton Albion and Torquay United striker Harrad is currently on trial at the Racecourse.
The experienced attacker, 31, has clocked up over 400 appearances throughout his career and although he is a free agent, former club Torquay are keen on re-signing him.
“He’s experienced, knows the leagues and has scored an abundance of goals in his career,” Mills told BBC Wales Sport.
“I managed him at Notts County when he was a younger player so he could well be part of us as well.”
