JAN LLADO-TORRENT has returned to his home in Spain after having his contract with Tamworth cancelled by mutual consent.
The 20-year-old forward had made eight appearances for the Lambs this season but seven of those came from the bench and he was eager to feature more prominently for Marcus Law’s side.
He was offered the chance to go on loan to Northern Premier League Premier Division club Stafford Rangers but turned that down.
The lack of first-team opportunities for Tamworth coupled with the fact his parents are suffering from health issues led him to move back to his native Spain to look after them.
A statement on the Tamworth website said: “He goes with our best wishes and hope that he gets sorted with a club sooner than later.
“His English had improved from when he first arrived and will not now be a stumbling block in the event that he wishes to return to England in the future.”
