DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE picked up an impressive 1-0 win at Eastleigh to move back up to second in the National League and manager John Still was named our Top Boss.
Daggers centre-half Josh Staunton earned a spot in our Team of the Day, alongside midfielder Matt Robinson as Eastleigh lost for the first time in 11 games.
Staunton was joined in our back four by Gateshead‘s Mitch Brundle, Forest Green scorer Ethan Pinnock and Aldershot left-back Anthony Straker. Jonny Maxted was again chosen as our goalkeeper, helping Guiseley to a rare victory over Southport.
Robinson, meanwhile, shared the middle of the park with Sutton’s Roarie Deacon, Sam Jones of Gateshead and Ben Tollitt, who helped Micky Mellon win his first game in charge of Tranmere.
Byron Harrison starred for Barrow in their 3-0 win against Maidstone and he was partnered up front by Boreham Wood scorer Morgan Ferrier.
