DEFENDER Patrick Ada has signed for Conference Premier club Ebbsfleet United.
Ada, 27, began his career at Redbridge and secured a move to Barnet in 2005 following his performances for the Motormen.
He went on to make 14 appearances for the Bees prior to spells with St Albans and Exeter City.
In 2007 he moved to Histon and became a regular fixture in the Stutes’ back four over the next two seasons.
He then stepped up to the Football League with Crewe Alexandra and spent two terms with the Railwaymen.
Last season saw him spend time with Scottish outfit Kilmarnock and Burton Albion, for whom he featured nine times towards the end of the League Two campaign.
Speaking about Ada’s arrival at Stonebridge Road, Fleet boss Liam Daish said: “I have been very pleased with the standard of players who have come in during pre season.
“Patrick has slotted in well alongside Paul Lorriane and they seem to have struck up an instant understanding.
“We were lucky to have Yado Mambo with us on loan from Charlton for much of last season and now we have added another commanding figure to our defence.”
