BAD weather has hit the FA Trophy and National League hard on Tuesday, causing a number of postponements.
Macclesfield Town were set to host Ryman Premier Dulwich Hamlet at the Moss Rose in their FA Trophy quarter-final replay after the 2-2 draw in south London on Saturday.
However, Tranmere Rovers must wait to find out who they face in the semi-finals after the replay was postponed this morning following heavy overnight snow in Cheshire. The pair will try again next Tuesday (March 7).
Rovers themselves are without a game on Tuesday night after their scheduled National League fixture against Forest Green Rovers fell foul to heavy rain.
The game, pitting fourth against third in the table, was called off at midday after overnight and morning rainfall left standing water on the Prenton Park pitch. It was the first weather caused abandonment at Tranmere since 2012-13.
Stalybridge Celtic‘s National League North fixture against AFC Telford United was postponed this afternoon with the Bower Fold pitch beaten by the rain.
There have also been games called off lower down the Non-League Pyramid so make sure to check your match is still on before travelling tonight.
