CHRIS CARRUTHERS and Andy Gallinagh have agreed contracts with Hereford United following trial spells with the Bulls.
The defensive duo have represented United in their pre-season friendlies with Yeovil Town and Evesham United and have now accepted deals at Edgar Street.
Carruthers, 28, started out at Northampton Town and represented the Cobblers over 70 times before stints with Bristol Rovers, Oxford United and York City.
He spent last season with Blue Square Bet Premier Gateshead, featuring 21 times for the Heed.
Gallinagh joins the Bulls after a nine-year association with Cheltenham Town.
The 27-year-old linked up with the Spireites in 2003 after spells with Coventry City and Stratford Town and went on to make over 130 appearances for them before being released earlier this summer.
