LUTON TOWN have appointed Stuart Cash as their new first-team coach following the departure of Paul Carden.
Carden, who joined the coaching staff at Kenilworth Road in August 2011, was contracted to the club until the end of the season but the two parties agreed to terminate the deal early.
The 33-year-old’s successor has previously held assistant manager roles at both Aldershot and AFC Wimbledon, working under highly-respected boss Terry Brown.
His experience of winning promotion from the Blue Square Bet Premier with the Dons in 2010/11 is no doubt one of the key factors in bringing him in midway through the Hatters’ push for the BSB Premier title.
Meanwhile, Luton have confirmed that forward Andre Gray has extended his current contract at Kenilworth Road.
The former Hinckley United striker has scored 11 times for the Hatters this term and has now put pen-to-paper on a deal running until the summer of 2015.
Speaking about his commitment to the Bedfordshire outfit, Hatters boss Paul Buckle said: “Andre been tremendous for us this season and has played a major part in our successes so far.
