GRANT BROWN and Chris Moyses will take charge of Lincoln City for their crucial league games with Barrow and Mansfield Town.
The Imps parted company with David Holdsworth last Sunday following a run of just one win in 11 league fixtures.
That leaves them just three points above the bottom face and facing the real threat of relegation into the second tier of Non-League football.
The club are currently reviewing applicants for the role of permanent manager at Sincil Bank – a process they anticipate taking between 7 and ten days – and Brown and Moyses have been entrusted with the reins during that period.
In an appeal to their fans ahead of Saturday’s game with Barrow and Tuesday’s clash with Mansfield a club statement said: “These two games are vital in the Club’s attempts to climb away from the relegation zone .
“We would therefore ask all supporters who have the club at heart to turn out in force and support Grant, Chris and the players.
