JOE COLBECK will miss Grimsby Town’s Blue Square Bet Premier run-in after the club decided against appealing the red card he received at Dartford on Tuesday evening.
The former Bradford City midfielder was given a straight red for violent conduct in the dying minutes of the 2-1 victory, triggering an automatic three-game suspension.
However, as it is the second time the 26-year-old has been banned this term, an additional game has been added to the suspension.
He will therefore miss the Mariners’ final three games of the regular season and the first leg of the play-off semi final.
Meanwhile, Grimsby have recalled Simon Ford from his loan spell with AFC Telford United.
