LUTON TOWN have confirmed that defender Ronnie Henry will captain the club for the forthcoming season.
Henry was in possession of the Hatters armband last term but it was youngster Alex Lacey who has skippered the club during the majority of their pre-season schedule.
However, Hatters boss John Still says he always intended to pass duties back to Henry, who won the Conference Premier title while with former club Stevenage.
Speaking to the club’s website, he said: “I just wanted Alex Lacey to see if he could be the person to stop me going to try and find another centre half.”
